Mortgage Almost Under $170K!

It looks like the mortgage will be under $170K next payment on June 1, 2013! I can't wait to see that $169,xxx number.

Too bad we are underwater by a good $40K though.

I am going to try to have auto loan under $5K by June 24, 2013.

    I'm about where you are; mortgage at $158K, but we're about $15K underwater. Ah well, home prices will rise slowly and principal will sink slowly, and hopefully they'll meet in the middle before we sell.
